The LNP recommends the development of Neighbourhood Plans to help shape the future of local areas. Any Neighbourhood Plan should take full account of the local environment, and identify opportunities for protecting and enhancing it alongside the development of housing and services considered important to the parish.
One way of doing this can be through the production of a ‘Parish Green Infrastructure Plan’, using the methodology developed locally in Bedfordshire and endorsed by the LNP. For more information on Neighbourhood Planning see:
