There are currently places on the Bedfordshire LNP Board. We are particularly looking for senior managers, elected members or other senior representatives in the fields of health and wellbeing, nature conservation and farming to help raise awareness of the importance of the natural environment and build it into decision-making across the county.
The Board meets four times a year, with other events and activities taking place in between, including sub-groups working on key Business Plan themes. This is an exciting time to join the Board as we are looking at the next steps following our DEFRA-funded Natural Capital Investment Plan project. Board members are expected to serve a term of three years, with several of the existing Board starting their second three-year term – we have a committed and passionate group of people!

For applications to be considered at the AGM on Thursday 17th May applications need to be received by 5pm on Thursday 10th May, but Board members can be co-opted throughout the year.
